Modular building specialists Elliott recently ran its Refurb or Rebuild LIVE! competition, aimed at harnessing creativity in school children. Working in conjunction with the Building Future Education (BFE) conference and exhibition, the prize was a brand new classroom for two lucky schools, worth £100,000 each. Every competition needs to create a buzz and it was Livelink's job to do that, and more.
The Elliott project required a complete multi-channel digital marketing campaign that included building a website, creating a Facebook page and taking care of the multi-channel marketing strategy. The site had to engage with various forms of social media, connecting with children, parents, teachers and governors.
In one of our fastest turnarounds yet, within a few days we delivered an ‘all singing, all dancing’ website and a Facebook app. Twitter was used as part of the ongoing campaign, with the announcement of the competition to mums' groups and prominent 'mum' bloggers made via this route in order to spread the message as widely and as quickly as possible. We also used our marketing automation system KeepinTouch to send out timely emails to Elliott’s intended audience.
