Fortunately, it needn't be that way. But which formulas lead to success? Indeed how do you define success and how is it measured? How do I convince my client it's worth pursuing? Can I address conversion and retention concerns with existing software features?

  • Ofcom has reported that the UK is currently the best country in Europe to exploit its citizens’ use of the internet as a staggering 79 per cent of internet users in the UK have bought on-line. 46 per cent of all mobile users own a smart phone and there has been a doubling of tablet and smart phone useage over the last 12 months which would indicate that the amount of people engaging with brands on-line, via their mobiles, can only grow more. The rate at which it will continue to grow is open to speculation but it’s a sure bet it will be very quick.

  • Last week we launched frenchaffaires.co.uk for on-line lingerie retailer, French Affaires. The website is built on Drupal 7, using Drupal Commerce, which is fast-emerging as the best way to build e-commerce sites and certainly the most capable when handling complex product attributes.

  • Pity the poor woman who recently faced financial ruin after 8,500 buyers took up her 75 per cent discount offer on a box of 12 cupcakes on money-saving website, Groupon.

  • We’re building up quite a library of guides at Livelink as we continue on our mission to share our knowledge, create good will and support our clients and any other interested parties, including clients past, clients future and friends and colleagues who make up our expanding network. Latest in the lustrous line-up is the Livelink Guide to Google Analytics…

  • The knives have been quietly sharpening for some time and these last few months have seen the long-awaited attack begin in fine style as Drupal’s detractors – the proprietary servers who incidentally happen to be its competitors – could stand the heat no more.

  • Livelink has spent the past few months sweating over a guide to on-line marketing which we are boldly positioning as the ‘definitive’ guide – well, we have put a lot of hard work into honing the information it contains to keep it simple, direct and to-the-point
