To check your registration details for a domain name do a "WHO IS Lookup" search at www.dnsstuff.com for your domain. This will give a record of all the information stored against the your domain. If any details are incorrect, contact the original registrar who will be listed in the record.

Registering your domain with a reputable company

Register your domains with a big registrar such as fasthosts.co.uk who may charge more but they will be around for a long time. Recently a couple of our customers have fallen fowl to small registrars going bust and they have experienced extended difficulties when it came to trying to renew the domain names.
